On top of a top-notch yoga studio and guest house, we offer a full yoga retreat with hiking excursions and adventure activities around the Manali Valley and Hamta region. Our hiking and adventure activities are optional and you may choose to explore the local culture and town of Vashisht. On the other hand, if you wish to embark on more adventurous climbs and treks we can arrange a guide to fit those needs.

Detailed Day-to-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival to Vashisht (Manali)

You arrive in Manali by your own means. We welcome you there and organize your transfer to the family house in Vashisht. You have time to explore your new environment. Afterwards you’ll be introduced your yoga and meditation teacher. Together  we will enjoy a fresh made diner prepared by Rhitu & Padma with the family.

Day 2: Yoga & Short Trek to Jogini Waterfalls

Yoga and Pranayama will start from 7am and end at 9am.  After a well deserved breakfast, you can spend your day as you please. After breakfast, you have the option of going on a guided trek to Jogini Falls. These beautiful waterfalls are about an hour along the wall of the valley from Vashisht. These falls descend from high above and run into the Beas River below. Evening we will take meditation class. Dinner and night in out family house or preferred hotel.

Day 3: Yoga, Meditation & Sethan Village

7am Yoga, Pranayama and asana practice for 2 hours. Breakfast at 9.30am. After breakfast we will walk to the village of Sethan - a nomadic village where people live seasonally. Here you will stay the night in a traditional Himalayan home and cook with the host family. 

Day 4: Yoga & Trek to Raulikholi Back to Sethan. 4/5  Hrs walk

Gentle yoga in the morning: After breakfast you will trek to Raulikholi. Upon arrival to Raulikholi, we will do some Mediattion. From here you'll see all of the high peaks: all over 6000 meters tall. You'll have the option to trek higher to 4,000 meters if you wish.  if one doesn't want to venture higher, they can stay and enjoy an evening of meditation back in Sethan. A packed lunch will be provided for the trek.

Day 5: Yoga, Meditation and Back to Vashisht

Yoga will start at 7:30am until 9:30am. After a late breakfast you'll have free time until lunch. Might we suggest the natural hot springs? After so you will be driven to Vashsiht.

Day 6: Yoga & Adventure Activities - Cannoning

Yoga will start at 7:30am until 9:30am. Today you will have the opportunity to go cannoning: repelling down waterfalls! This unique excursion will be led by trained guides who will show you the ropes on how to climb down a series of beautiful waterfalls.

Day 7: Check Out & Departure

Yoga will start at 7:30 am until 9:30 am. Today after breakfast we check out from the homestay. Transport is provided to Manali, from where you can continue on with your journey.

  • Also available on request: Thai massage/ Reiky and Yoga therapy. If you are interested in either of these then please inform us in advance.

  • All meals are vegetarian, prepared with fresh and local ingredients by Padema and Ritu. Non-Vegetarian is available upon request.

  • Please notify us or the family if you have any specific dietary needs.
